One of our private clients is looking for a live-in nanny/housekeeper to join their household in East Sussex.
The housekeeper nanny will look after their 6 years old boy and help with the housekeeping and cooking duties.
Duties:
Cleaning, organising and cooking.
Pet care.
The family has a cleaner that attends weekly session of deep cleaning.
Bank holidays will typically be worked, hours as per holiday daytime 07:30-19:30, sole care.
A weekday off in lieu will be provided, within the same or the following week if possible.
Each bank holiday counts as an annual leave day as per statutory employer obligations.
Annual leave: 28 days annually NB FIXED ALLOCATED DATES due to nature of employer’s fixed rota
· 10 days to be given in a 2-week block during termtime determined by the employer
· 5 days to be taken at Christmas time, inclusive of Christmas and boxing day bank holidays.
· 7 bank holidays = 7 days Annual leave, however please note the day will typically be taken in lieu as per bank holiday rules above.
· 6 days annual leave will be taken as discrete days throughout the year and during termtime
Flexibility essential.
NB if the child is ill or unable to attend school, full day will be required. Hours will be returned at alternative time to compensate at times to suit employer’s rota.
Days and hours of work: 5 days per week and 12 hours per day (Friday and Saturday off)
Accommodation: Double bedroom with balcony and own separate bathroom
Use of car 24/7 except in exceptional circumstances; petrol costs to be covered by employee if used on days off
Requirements: must be a driver
Start date: as soon as possible
Salary: £38 000 gross per annum
