Our client is looking for a daily nanny to care for their son who is 2.5. The family are looking for a nanny who is educationally focussed and a strong preference for Montessori experience. The little boy will be in nursery for 3 hours every morning. Both parents work a mix of home and office. Their son is active and likes to be outside, and the parents are wanting a nanny who will encourage learning and focus on activities that will stimulate him
Salary: up to £15 net per hour depending on experience (£55,596 gross per annum)
General duties:
Sole charge care
Nursery runs- 25 min walk from home
Preparing healthy meals (the family are all vegetarian)
Normal nursery duties including laundry and keeping his play areas and room tidy
Planning age-appropriate activities with a focus on education
Arranging play dates
Candidate requirements:
Fluent English skills are essential
A childcare degree or qualification – strong preference for Montessori experience
Good cooking skills- the family are vegetarian
A driver is preferred but not essential
Experience working in a preschool or nursery would be a bonus
Must have experience with similar ages.
