A warm, experienced, and proactive live-in nanny is required to support a loving family based in Riyadh. The role is centered on providing high-quality care for a 3-year-old child with Special Educational Needs (SEN). The nanny will create a nurturing, structured, and engaging environment tailored to the child’s developmental needs while integrating therapeutic strategies recommended by specialists.
Key Responsibilities

Provide attentive, child-centred care in a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment.

Implement routines that promote the child’s emotional, physical, and cognitive development.

Use SEN-appropriate strategies to support communication, sensory needs, and behavioural regulation.

Liaise and collaborate with therapists, educators, or medical professionals as directed by the parents.

Plan and engage the child in stimulating, age-appropriate and SEN-appropriate activities, including play-based learning and sensory play.

Support daily routines such as meals, hygiene, nap times, and bedtime.

Maintain a calm, predictable atmosphere that helps the child feel secure and supported.
- Assist with child-related housekeeping tasks (e.g., laundry, toy organisation, maintaining play areas).

Travel with the family when required (local or international).

Respect family privacy, cultural norms, and household structure.
Qualifications and experience

Minimum 2–3 years of professional nanny experience, including direct experience with children with SEN (e.g., developmental delays, autism spectrum, sensory needs).

Relevant childcare qualifications or SEN training preferred.

First Aid/Paediatric CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).

Strong understanding of child development and behaviour management strategies.

Experience working alongside therapists is a plus.

High level of emotional intelligence, patience, and empathy.
