Working parents in Redondo Beach, California, are seeking an experienced, reliable, and proactive full-time nanny to provide sole-charge care for their two young children, a 3-year-old and a baby. Both parents work outside the home, so they are looking for someone who can confidently manage the children’s daily routines, provide a nurturing and stimulating environment, and take full responsibility for all childcare-related duties throughout the day.
Responsibilities will include planning age-appropriate activities, supporting developmental milestones, preparing healthy meals and snacks for the children, maintaining nap and feeding schedules, organising outings, managing children’s laundry, keeping children’s areas tidy and organised, and ensuring the smooth running of the children’s day-to-day needs. The ideal candidate will be energetic, highly organised, and comfortable caring for children at different developmental stages, with a genuine passion for childcare and child development.
A safe driving record and a reliable personal vehicle are essential, as on-duty driving will be required and mileage reimbursement will be provided. The family may also require occasional light travel, so flexibility is appreciated.
This is a Monday to Friday position offering approximately 50 hours per week and a competitive rate of $35 per hour for the right candidate.
