A family in Presidio Heights is seeking a highly qualified ECE-certified nanny to care for their newborn on a full-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a knowledgeable early childhood professional who has a strong understanding of infant development and early education principles. The ideal candidate is nurturing, attentive, and confident in creating a structured, engaging environment that supports healthy growth and developmental milestones from the earliest stages.
The role is focused on hands-on newborn care, including preparing and sanitizing bottles, supporting feeding routines, and managing transitions such as introducing solids and establishing consistent daily schedules. As the child grows, the nanny will also support early developmental learning through age-appropriate activities, play, and interaction. Additional responsibilities include child-related laundry, maintaining cleanliness in nursery and play areas, organizing and tracking children’s clothing, toys, and supplies, and ensuring all baby-related spaces remain well kept and orderly.
Requirements:
ECE certification or equivalent early childhood education qualification
Extensive experience caring for newborns and infants
Strong knowledge of developmental milestones and early childhood development
Experience preparing bottles, introducing solids, and managing infant routines
Ability to plan and engage in age-appropriate developmental activities
Comfortable maintaining organized, clean nursery and child-related spaces
Experience with child laundry and inventory management of baby items
CPR and First Aid certification preferred
Excellent professional references
Reliable, proactive, and detail-oriented approach to childcare
Authorized to work in the United States
This is a Monday to Friday position, 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., and compensation is $45-$55/hour DOE.
