A Russian family spending the summer in Sardinia, near Porto Cervo, is seeking is seeking a qualified and experienced summer governess/tutor for their two daughters aged 10 and 6. The role requires a professional English teacher with a flawless British accent and proven experience working with private families, particularly teaching children within the British curriculum. The governess will be responsible for delivering structured lessons, supporting academic development, and creating engaging educational activities tailored to both age groups, while maintaining a balanced and enjoyable summer routine. The ideal candidate will be organised, adaptable, and confident working in a private household environment, with the ability to combine learning with fun, outdoor summer activities.
This is a temporary contract starting ASAP until mid-August, and includes separate accommodation and flights provided. The governess will work Monday to Friday from 9am to 6pm with a one-hour lunch break. This is a self-employed position, and the candidate must be able to invoice the family directly, with a competitive and negotiable rate offered depending on experience.
