Piedmont, CA – Bay area family is seeking a full-time nanny to care for their 18-month-old toddler, with a second baby expected in the spring. Even though both parents work from home, they want someone who takes full responsibility, keeps their little one happily engaged, and creates a structured rhythm without relying on them. The ideal candidate is proactive in researching engaging activities, driving to classes and outings, and utilizing the family’s memberships at local zoos and museums. A nanny who enjoys supporting toddlers through milestones while also feeling confident about transitioning into infant care is especially desired.
Duties include:
- Provide full-time care for toddler and, in time, infant
- Maintain routines for naps, meals, and daily care
- Plan and lead age-appropriate activities indoors and outdoors
- Driving to parks, classes, playdates, and outings
- Support developmental milestones with creativity and patience
- Tidy play areas and children’s spaces
- Children’s laundry and dishes
- Prepare healthy snacks and meals for the children
- Keep inventory of child-related supplies (e.g., diapers, wipes)
- Light pet care
Schedule: Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 5pm
Compensation: $35-45/hr DOE
