A family in Park Slope, Brooklyn is seeking an experienced Spanish-speaking nanny to provide loving and attentive care for their 2-year-old child and newborn baby. The ideal candidate will be confident caring for both a toddler and infant, while supporting their development, routines, and individual needs.
The role will include all aspects of childcare, including managing daily routines, preparing meals and snacks, planning age-appropriate activities, supporting developmental milestones, and providing attentive newborn care. The family values a nanny who can naturally incorporate Spanish into the children’s daily lives through conversation, play, and activities. Flexibility to travel with the family is required.
The position is Monday through Friday, from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm.
Compensation up to $35 per hour depending on experience and qualifications.
Requirements:
Native or fluent Spanish speaker.
Previous experience caring for both infants and toddlers.
Confident supporting newborn care and toddler routines.
Strong understanding of early childhood development and developmental milestones.
Able to plan engaging, age-appropriate activities.
Warm, patient, and nurturing approach to childcare.
Comfortable preparing meals and supporting children’s daily routines.
Flexible and willing to travel with the family when required.
