An international expat family based in Palm Jumeirah, Dubai is seeking an experienced German-speaking Nanny/Governess to care for their two children, aged 2 and 6 years old. The family is looking for someone warm, engaging, and organized who can naturally incorporate the German language into the children’s daily lives while encouraging their academic, social, and emotional development.

The role follows the children’s school routine, beginning with helping them get ready in the morning before accompanying them to school with the family driver. During school hours, you will have free time before returning for school pick-up, homework support, educational activities, and accompanying the children to extracurricular activities and playdates. You will also coordinate playdates and create engaging learning opportunities that inspire curiosity and confidence. The family travels regularly to Switzerland and Germany during the summer and school holidays, so flexibility to travel is essential. This role is focused exclusively on childcare and educational support. No cooking, cleaning, laundry, or other housekeeping duties are required.

This is a live-in position with a private bedroom and bathroom provided within the family home. During term time, you will work 6 days per week, covering before- and after-school hours plus one full weekend day. During school holidays, the schedule changes to 5 working days per week with 2 days off. The family offers a tax-free salary of AED 20,000–25,000 per month, depending on experience.

Visa sponsorship is available, and the position is open to overseas candidates wishing to relocate to Dubai.
