A busy family of six in the Palisades area is seeking an experienced, energetic, and proactive nanny to care for their twin toddlers (11 months old) as the parents work full-time, demanding schedules. There are two older children, however there is another nanny who cares for them. This is a long-term opportunity for someone interested in becoming a trusted member of the household. Ideal candidates will have flexibility with hours, proven experience working with multiples, and the capability to be proactive, providing high-quality care independently with little direction. MUST truly enjoy engaging with children, finding creative and playful ways to be connect with them, introducing age appropriate educational activities. The family will appreciate someone who can source music, art, or gym classes for the twins to participate in.
Responsibilities:
Full care for the twin toddlers, including feeding, diapering, playtime, and naptime routines.
Preparing bottles and meals for the twins, with feeding schedules starting at 7 am (milk) and 8 am (solid foods).
Light household duties related to childcare, including tidying the play areas, loading and unloading the dishwasher, and making the beds.
Providing flexible support for the family, which may include occasional date night babysitting.
Driving the family’s van for any childcare-related transportation needs, so a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record are required.
International and domestic travel availability, as travel may occasionally be required.
Requirements:
Experience caring for twins or multiple young children in a professional nanny role.
A proactive approach, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently without constant direction.
Flexibility with hours and the ability to adapt to the family’s fluctuating weekly needs.
References demonstrating excellent performance and reliability.
An energetic, caring personality that can engage and actively play with the twins.
Must be comfortable working in the Palisades area and be mindful of commute.
Compensation and Benefits:
$35-40 per hour based on experience
Guaranteed 50 hours per week with flexibility for occasional overtime, depending on the week’s schedule.
