We are a warm, active family in Ojai, California seeking a reliable, nurturing, and experienced nanny to care for our two young children: a 2-year-old girl and a 3-year-old boy. The ideal candidate is punctual, values routine, and genuinely enjoys being active and spending time outdoors with young children.
Daily Nanny Responsibilities
Plan and lead age-appropriate play, learning activities, and outings
Encourage outdoor play and active engagement
Prepare and serve children’s meals and snacks, including cleanup
Support nap routines, diapering, potty training, and daily hygiene
Assist with bathing and grooming (brushing teeth and hair, getting dressed)
Manage children’s laundry (wash, fold, and put away)
Keep children’s play and eating areas tidy throughout the shift
Clean and disinfect high-use children’s items (toys, high chairs, car seats, play stations)
Walk our son to and from Montessori school on school days
Monitor, stock, and notify parents when child-related supplies are running low (diapers, wipes, etc.)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Compensation: $30–$32 per hour, depending on experience
