A prominent international family who divide their time between London and India is seeking an experienced Travel Nanny to support the care and development of their baby. The ideal candidate is a qualified childcare professional who is passionate about early childhood development and enjoys the excitement of international travel. You’ll join an experienced team that includes dedicated day and night nannies, allowing you to focus exclusively on the baby’s learning, development, and overall wellbeing rather than nursery duties.
The family is looking for someone who can provide a thoughtful, educational approach to infant care, helping to nurture developmental milestones, language acquisition, and early learning through meaningful interaction and play. You’ll travel with the family throughout the year while maintaining consistent routines and creating enriching experiences wherever they are in the world. Separate accommodation is provided, a dedicated driver is available both on and off duty, and the family offers a comprehensive relocation package for the successful candidate.
Responsibilities:
Support the baby’s developmental milestones through engaging, age-appropriate activities
Encourage early language development through conversation, reading, songs, and play
Plan educational and sensory activities that promote cognitive, physical, and emotional development
Maintain consistent daily routines to support healthy sleep, feeding, and development
Create a nurturing, stimulating environment that encourages curiosity and confidence
Travel internationally with the family while ensuring continuity of care and routines
Work collaboratively with the family’s day and night nannies and wider household team
Monitor developmental progress and communicate regularly with the parents
Research and arrange enriching activities and experiences while travelling
Provide attentive, development-focused care in a professional, fully staffed household
Requirements:
Relevant childcare qualification in Early Years, Child Development, Education, or a related field
Previous professional experience caring for infants in private households
Strong understanding of early childhood development and developmental milestones
Experience working in fully staffed, VIP, or UHNW households preferred
Passion for educationally focused childcare and language development
Flexible and enthusiastic about frequent international travel
Professional, discreet, and collaborative
Must have the legal right to work in the UK
Excellent references from previous employers
The family is open to discussing the working schedule with the right candidate and, for an exceptional fit, may also consider a ROTA arrangement.
Salary: Up to £75,000 gross per annum, depending on experience
