Early Childhood Educator – Mumbai, India
A private family in Mumbai, India is seeking a dedicated and experienced Early Childhood Educator to support the development and daily care of their 1-year-old child. This is an excellent opportunity for a nurturing professional who is passionate about early years education and creating a structured, engaging environment for a toddler.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities tailored to a 1-year-old
Support early cognitive, social, emotional, and motor skill development
Create engaging sensory play, language-building, and exploratory learning experiences
Encourage curiosity, independence, and age-appropriate milestones
Provide attentive, nurturing, and responsive care throughout the day
Establish and maintain consistent routines for feeding, naps, and play
Support healthy sleep habits and daily structure
Maintain a clean, safe, and stimulating environment for the child
Organize toys, learning materials, and child-related spaces
Ensure all child-related items are well-maintained and developmentally appropriate
Provide regular updates to parents on developmental progress and daily activities
Work collaboratively with parents to align on routines and developmental goals
Qualifications & Requirements
Background in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field preferred
Proven experience working with toddlers (1–3 years old)
Strong understanding of early developmental milestones and age-appropriate practices
Warm, patient, and engaging personality
Organized, proactive, and able to work independently in a private household
Position Type: Live-In (Private Bedroom & Bathroom Provided)
Schedule: 6 days per week
Compensation: Competitive, based on experience
