We are looking for a professional Maternity Nurse to provide exceptional care and support for first-time parents in Monaco. This is an 8-week booking starting in mid-June, (due date 14.06) and we are looking for an experienced, qualified professional who can bring a calming presence and a nurturing approach to the role.
As the Maternity Nurse, you will be responsible for the following:
- Providing round-the-clock care for the newborn, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
- Offering guidance and support to the parents as they adjust to life with their first child, including feeding, sleeping routines, and infant care.
- Assisting with breastfeeding and bottle-feeding, ensuring the baby is properly nourished.
- Monitoring the baby’s health and development, ensuring any concerns are addressed early on.
- Offering emotional support to the new parents and providing expert advice to build their confidence in caring for their baby.
- Helping with light household tasks related to the baby, such as laundry and organizing the baby’s nursery.
- Maintaining a calm and reassuring presence, ensuring the parents feel supported throughout the transition to parenthood.
Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified and experienced Maternity Nurse with proven experience caring for newborns.
- Loving, compassionate, and patient, with a genuine passion for helping families during this special time.
- Easy-going and adaptable, with the ability to work alongside new parents and meet their individual needs.
- Excellent communication skills, both with the parents and the baby.
- Professional and discreet, maintaining high standards of confidentiality and respect.
- Availability to commit to the full 8-week booking, starting mid-June.
