Family in Meridian, ID is seeking a full time Nanny to care for a 7-year-old boy with ODD and ADHD. The ideal candidate will possess proven experience working with children with special needs, particularly those with ODD (Oppositional Defiant Disorder), ADHD, and emotional disorders. A background in education and/or a degree in education is preferred. The nanny should demonstrate a calm and patient demeanor, able to handle challenging behaviors with empathy and understanding. Flexibility, creativity, and strong communication skills are essential.
The family provides a full curriculum for the candidate to follow. Responsibilities include providing daily care, implementing a personalized educational plan, accompanying the child on outings, maintaining a clean and organized environment, preparing meals and snacks, and managing the child’s emotional needs.
Candidates should own a reliable vehicle and be willing to drive the child to various activities. The family will reimburse for mileage.
Start date is January 2025. Pay is $25-$35/hr gross via payroll.
