Newborn Care Specialist in Menlo Park, CA (San Francisco Bay area)

A family in Menlo Park, CA is seeking an experienced and compassionate Newborn Care Specialist to support them with their baby due in mid-September. They have two older children who will not be your responsibility. The ideal candidate will have extensive newborn experience and be confident in managing overnight care, including feeding support, soothing techniques, and establishing healthy sleep habits, while ensuring a calm and well-structured nighttime routine. Responsibilities include full overnight care of the newborn, maintaining a calm and safe sleep environment, and offering reassurance and expert advice to ensure a smooth transition for the entire family. The specialist should be professional, reliable, and able to work independently during night shifts. This is a 2-month contract starting at the end of September. The role requires 5–6 nights per week with 10-hour overnight shifts. A competitive rate will be offered based on experience.
