A British family based in Megève, in the French Alps, is seeking an experienced night nanny or maternity nurse to support them with their newborn baby, due at the end of January. The position will begin in the first week of February and run for approximately 8–10 weeks. The schedule is 5 nights per week, with 8-hour overnight shifts. The family is open to English-speaking and/or French-speaking candidates. They are seeking someone who can either return home every morning after their shift or only requires accommodation while on duty and can return home during their days off. Previous newborn and overnight care experience is essential. The role will focus on providing calm, attentive overnight care and supporting the parents during the early weeks. This is a fully declared position, paid legally on the books in France. Candidates must have a valid French Social Security number (Numéro de Sécurité Sociale) and be legally authorized to work in France.
