A private family based in Marylebone, London is seeking an experienced full-time nanny to provide sole-charge care for their 8-month-old baby. This is a wonderful opportunity for a confident, organised, and proactive nanny who is comfortable managing all aspects of a baby’s day independently.
The ideal candidate will have strong infant experience, excellent attention to detail, and a calm, capable approach to supporting a baby’s routine and ongoing development. The family is also looking for a nanny who is happy and able to travel with them when required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sole-charge care of an 8-month-old baby
- Managing the baby’s daily routine, including feeds, naps, and age-appropriate wake windows
- Preparing bottles and/or meals
- Monitoring and maintaining stock of nappies, wipes, and baby essentials
- Carrying out all baby laundry
- Keeping the nursery and play areas clean, organised, and well-maintained
- Supporting developmental milestones through age-appropriate activities, play, and outings
- Encouraging sensory play and early communication skills
- Confidently overseeing all aspects of the baby’s day-to-day needs without close supervision
- Travelling with the family as required
Working Hours & Salary:
- Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 6:00pm (47.5 hours per week)
- Salary: £20–£22 per hour (gross)
