A family in Mar Vista, CA is seeking an experienced Overnight Newborn Care Specialist to provide expert overnight support during the first months with their newborn. The ideal candidate has extensive knowledge of newborn safety, infant development, and healthy sleep conditioning, along with a calm, nurturing approach that helps both baby and parents through the early weeks.
Responsibilities include all aspects of overnight newborn care, including feeding support, diaper changes, soothing, monitoring the baby’s well-being, maintaining a safe sleep environment, and helping establish healthy sleep and feeding routines. The family is looking for a knowledgeable professional who can provide attentive care while respecting the parents’ preferences and offering reassurance when needed.
This is a temporary 4 to 5-month assignment beginning in October. The schedule will be seven nights per week for the first couple of weeks, followed by five nights per week (10-hour overnight shifts). The family is offering $45 per hour.
