A family in Manchester is seeking an experienced maternity nurse to provide dedicated support following the arrival of their first baby, who is now 6 weeks old. The primary focus of the role is to support the mother’s rest and recovery while providing expert care for the newborn. The family is looking for a gentle, knowledgeable professional who can offer hands-on care, practical guidance, and reassurance during this important stage.
Responsibilities include all baby-related duties, such as supporting feeding, encouraging healthy sleep routines, sterilising bottles, pump parts, and dummies, managing the baby’s laundry, keeping the nursery clean and organised, tidying toys, and ensuring all baby items are well maintained. The ideal candidate will have extensive newborn experience, a calm and nurturing approach, and the confidence to guide first-time parents while working independently.
The family is seeking local candidates for this position. A driver with a reliable personal vehicle is also required due to the location.
The schedule is Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. This is a one-month temporary position starting ASAP.
Compensation is up to £25.00 gross per hour, depending on experience.
