A family in Los Gatos, California is seeking a professional full-time nanny to support the care of their newborn and 4-year-old child. The 4-year-old attends preschool from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM each day, and the family currently employs another full-time nanny who cares for the newborn from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The candidate will provide care for both children after the other nanny’s workday ends and on an as-needed basis, creating a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for both children.
Responsibilities include childcare and developmental support, engaging the children in age-appropriate and stimulating activities, and assisting with meals and snacks. Additional duties involve children’s laundry, running children’s errands, and light housekeeping related to the children, such as tidying play areas, cleaning up after meals, washing dishes, and maintaining common areas in an organised and clutter-free state. The ideal candidate will also be comfortable traveling domestically and internationally with the family when required.
This is a full-time position, working Monday through Friday from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM, and set to begin in July 2026. Rate is $35–$45 per hour plus benefits.
