A professional family in Los Gatos, CA is looking for a loving, experienced Nanny for their 8-month-old baby. They are hoping to find someone who genuinely enjoys caring for infants and has a background in early childhood education. The ideal nanny will be attentive and engaged throughout the day, helping the baby learn, explore, and develop through age-appropriate play and activities while also keeping a consistent and comfortable daily routine.
Both parents work from home, so the family is looking for a nanny who is confident working independently while also being comfortable in a home where parents are nearby. Someone who is communicative, dependable, and able to create a calm environment for the baby will be a great fit. The family is looking for a long-term caregiver who will become a trusted part of their child’s early years.
Nanny Responsibilities:
Provide loving, attentive care for the 8-month-old baby
Follow the baby’s daily feeding, nap, and activity routines
Plan and engage in age-appropriate play and developmental activities
Support the baby’s early learning, motor skills, and social development
Prepare bottles and simple baby meals as needed
Handle baby-related laundry, dishes, and tidying throughout the day
Take the baby outside for walks and age-appropriate outings when appropriate
Keep the baby’s spaces, toys, and belongings clean and organized
Communicate with the parents about the baby’s day, milestones, and changing needs
Work respectfully and independently while both parents are working from home
Requirements:
Previous professional infant nanny experience
Background in Early Childhood Education (ECE)
Experience caring for babies around 8 months and familiarity with infant developmental milestones
Current CPR certification
Up-to-date vaccinations
Warm, reliable, patient, and genuinely engaged with children
Comfortable working in a home with work-from-home parents
Strong communication skills and a proactive approach
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
Compensation: $38–$40/hour
