A private family in Lancaster Gate, London W2, is looking for an experienced French-speaking nanny to care for their 1-year-old baby girl. The role is focused on the child’s full daily routine, including meals, naps, personal care, play, and age-appropriate activities that support her development. The nanny will plan a good mix of activities to encourage curiosity and early learning, including books, music, sensory play, creative activities, and outdoor time. All usual child-related duties are part of the position, and the nanny will keep the baby’s belongings and areas clean, tidy, and organised throughout the day.
French is essential, and the nanny must speak only French with the child to provide consistent exposure to the language as part of her everyday routine. The family is looking for someone warm, reliable, and confident caring for babies and toddlers, with a good understanding of their routines and changing developmental needs. Paediatric First Aid, an Enhanced DBS check, and the right to work in the UK are required.
The position is Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 7:00pm.
The salary is £20–£22 gross per hour, depending on experience.
