A family of four located in North Yorkshire, consisting of two working parents, Dad works overseas and Mum works in London. The elder child attends an educational setting on a full-time basis whilst the youngest currently attends nursery on a part-time basis. Due to the nature of Mum’s role, she will require a candidate who is willing to work up to 2 nights proxy parenting per week so someone who is confident in doing so is crucial. The family will be relocating in the Summer of 2024 which is why the position will be on a fixed-term 8 months contract.
General duties
Driving children to and from educational settings
General nursery duties e.g. taking care of the children’s laundry, meal preparation etc
Providing age-appropriate activities
Attending local community groups and playdates
Proxy parenting one to two nights per week
Preparing nutritious and heathy meals
Candidate Requirements:
Must be a confident driver to take children to and from school
Enhanced DBS and paediatric first aid training
Happy to care for multiple children at one time
Working Days: Monday-Friday with occasional weekend working 7.00-7.00 with 1/2 evenings proxy parenting per week
Start Date: January 2024/ February 2024
Salary: £800 – £900 gross per week
