A family based in Kings Langley, Hertfordshire, is seeking an experienced Live-in Nanny to take sole-charge responsibility for the care of their two school-aged children from October. The role combines childcare and educational support and would be particularly well suited to a nanny with a teaching background or strong experience supporting children’s learning and development.
Daily responsibilities will include school runs, preparing healthy and nutritious meals, overseeing all nursery duties, assisting with homework, and creating engaging activities and outings that encourage curiosity, independence and confidence. The family is looking for a proactive and organised candidate who can provide a structured yet nurturing environment while adapting to the changing needs of school-aged children.
The schedule is Monday to Friday from 7:00am to 7:00pm, together with one to two evenings of babysitting per week. Flexibility to travel with the family during holidays is essential.
Private accommodation is provided, offering the nanny their own comfortable living space within the family home. The position offers up to £55,000 gross per year DOE.
