A family in Hillsborough, CA is looking for an experienced full-time nanny to join their family. They currently have two girls, ages 3 and 5, and are expecting a baby boy in early November. The position will initially involve shared care while Mom is on maternity leave, with the role eventually transitioning to sole-charge care for all three children. The family would love to find someone who is confident caring for children at different ages and stages and who can keep the older girls engaged while also caring for a newborn. The nanny will help with school and preschool drop-offs and pick-ups, daily routines, activities, meals, and all the little things that keep a busy family running smoothly. A valid driver’s license and safe driving experience are required, and a family car will be provided for work-related driving. There may also be occasional evening babysitting or support when needed.
Responsibilities:
Provide attentive day-to-day care for two girls, ages 3 and 5, and eventually a newborn baby
Handle school and preschool drop-offs and pick-ups
Plan and coordinate age-appropriate classes, outings, and activities
Create fun, engaging days that balance routines with plenty of play and learning
Support the children’s changing needs as the family welcomes their new baby
Prepare healthy, child-friendly meals and snacks
Manage children’s laundry and keep their belongings organized
Light tidying related to the children and their daily activities
Help maintain consistent routines around meals, naps, school, and activities
Provide occasional evening babysitting and additional support when needed
Transition from shared care during Mom’s maternity leave to sole-charge care for all three children
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 50 hours per week
Compensation: $40–$45/hour
