A busy family in Hammersmith, London, is seeking an experienced Nanny/Governess to care for their two children, aged 4 and 5. The family would like someone who can provide a strong educational focus while also taking care of the children’s day-to-day needs. The ideal candidate will have a genuine interest in early education and enjoy helping children learn through reading, conversation, structured activities, and play. The role will include school pick-ups, homework support, reading, educational activities, and preparation for the 7+ exams. The governess will also arrange playdates and accompany the children to their extracurricular activities, classes, and other outings. The position is focused entirely on the children, with the nanny/governess responsible for their education, activities, routines, and general wellbeing. The family is looking for someone warm, organised, engaging, and confident working with young children. A patient approach is important, along with the ability to encourage learning while keeping the children motivated and happy. International travel will be required, so the successful candidate must be comfortable travelling with the family when needed. The position is Monday to Friday, from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with a salary of £18 net per hour.
