Norland Nanny Job – Guildford, Surrey
A warm and welcoming family based in Guildford, Surrey is seeking an experienced and professional Norland Nanny to care for their two children – a newborn and a 2-year-old.
This is a sole-charge, live-out Norland nanny position, ideal for a confident and highly organised nanny who is passionate about early childhood development and enjoys creating a stimulating, nurturing environment.
Both parents will be working from home a couple of days per week, but this remains a fully sole-charge role.
Responsibilities
The role is primarily nursery duties only, with a strong focus on the children’s wellbeing, routine, and development. Duties will include:
Full care of a newborn and a toddler
Planning and delivering educational, age-appropriate activities
Engaging the children in fun learning through play and games
Attending baby and toddler groups
Outdoor play, trips to the park, and local outings
Preparing healthy meals and snacks for the children
Supporting developmental milestones and routines
There may be light housekeeping related to the children, such as tidying play areas or children’s laundry, on a flexible basis and always with notice.
Candidate Requirements
Qualified Norland Nanny (Norland College trained)
Proven experience with newborns and toddlers
Calm, proactive, and confident in a sole-charge role
A genuine passion for child development and education
Own car required – mileage will be paid
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 7:00pm
Salary: From £57,000 per year gross, dependent on experience
