Live-In Nanny – Ghent, Belgium
A welcoming family in Ghent, Belgium is seeking an experienced and caring live-in nanny to provide full-time support for their newborn. The ideal candidate will be nurturing, proactive, and flexible, with experience supporting early routines and developmental milestones while collaborating closely with parents.
This is a live-in role with a separate studio apartment provided. The family values a professional who is supportive, adaptable, and able to travel with them occasionally.
Key Responsibilities
Newborn Care & Development
Provide full nursery duties, including feeding, naps, diapering, and developmental support
Support and maintain routines to ensure the baby’s healthy growth and milestones
Prepare meals or snacks for the child as needed
Work closely with parents, especially during the early months, providing guidance and support
Household & Collaboration
Collaborate with the household team, particularly a housekeeper, to maintain child-related areas (no heavy housekeeping required)
Assist parents in maintaining a calm, organized, and nurturing environment
Flexibility & Travel
Travel occasionally with the family (flexibility required)
Adapt to changes in schedule or routines as the child grows
Qualifications & Requirements
EU passport holder (essential)
Fluent in English (preferred)
Knowledge of French and/or Dutch is a strong bonus
Proven experience caring for newborns and supporting early development
Patient, proactive, and reliable
Comfortable working alongside parents and household staff
Ability to travel with the family when required
Schedule: Monday–Friday, approximately 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Accommodation: Separate studio apartment provided
