A welcoming family in Georgetown, Washington DC is seeking an experienced, collaborative full-time nanny to care for their three young children aged 3, 2, and 1 year. The two older children attend preschool until 2:45 pm each weekday, and the family is looking for a proactive nanny who can provide engaging care while helping maintain a smooth, structured daily routine.
This role is team-oriented, as the nanny will work alongside the family’s au pair. Strong communication, flexibility, and a positive attitude toward teamwork are essential. The ideal candidate will be confident managing multiple young children, planning enriching activities, and supporting early development.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide attentive, nurturing care for three young children

Coordinate care alongside the family’s au pair in a collaborative manner

Manage care for the youngest child during preschool hours

Pick up the older children from preschool at 2:45 pm

Plan and lead age-appropriate, educational, and fun activities and outings

Drive the children to local adventures, classes, and appointments

Support daily routines, transitions, and mealtimes

Maintain organisation and tidiness related to the children

Travel with the family when required
Requirements:

Schedule & Compensation:

Monday–Friday, 8:00am – 6:00pm
