A family in Garden City, NY with three girls ages 8, 7, and 4 is seeking a reliable, experienced, and caring full-time nanny to join their household long term. All three children are in school, and the role centers on supporting smooth mornings and afternoons, providing safe and dependable transportation, and helping keep the household running efficiently during school hours.
Responsibilities include assisting with morning routines and getting the children ready for school, driving to and from school, bus stops, and activities using the nanny’s own car, afternoon care and pick-ups, and transporting the children to after-school activities as needed, including gymnastics on Fridays. While the children are in school, duties include children’s laundry, light housekeeping, light meal preparation for the children, and maintaining a tidy, organized home.
The schedule is Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to approximately 4:00 PM, with flexibility required as some days may run later. Compensation is $30–$35 per hour, depending on experience.
