Danville, CA – Bay Area family is seeking a part-time nanny to care for their two children, ages 7 and 8 years old. The 8-year-old has Autism, is non-verbal, and requires active supervision. Both children attend school during the school year. The ideal candidate can provide emotional support, follow instructions, and prioritize the safety and well-being of the children. Valid driver’s license required, family vehicle available to use on the job.
Responsibilities:
Drive the children (using the family car) to appointments and activities.
Assist with daily self-care activities for the 8-year-old, including personal care and hygiene.
Engage in recreational and social interactions with both children, promoting their development and well-being.
Prepare meals for the children, manage their laundry, and perform light housekeeping tasks related to their care.
Schedule is Monday to Friday from 3pm to 7pm (or similar) + occasional weekend hours and pay is $40-$45 per hour DOE.
