A young family in Cobble Hill, Brooklyn, is seeking an experienced and nurturing full-time nanny to care for their 4-month-old baby girl. Both parents work from home, so the nanny should be comfortable working alongside parents who are present in the home during the day. The role will focus on providing attentive infant care and supporting the baby’s development, milestones, and daily routine. Responsibilities will include feeding, naps, diapering, playtime, and creating a consistent and age-appropriate schedule. The nanny will also take the baby to local baby classes, enjoy daily walks, and plan simple activities that encourage her development and curiosity. Experience with weaning is required, along with the ability to prepare healthy and nutritious meals suitable for a growing baby. The family is looking for someone warm, reliable, proactive, and confident with infants who can become a trusted part of their household. The nanny must also be comfortable around pets, as the family has a small dog. Pet care will not be part of the nanny’s responsibilities. This is a Monday to Friday position from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The family is offering $30–$32 per hour, paid on payroll.
