A family in Chicago is looking for an experienced Polish-speaking nanny to care for their two children, a 5-year-old boy and a 2-year-old girl. The nanny will provide attentive day-to-day care and speak Polish naturally with the children throughout their routine, helping them maintain a connection to the language through conversation, books, games, and everyday activities.
The role will include all usual nanny duties, such as preparing meals and snacks, managing naps and daily routines, organising age-appropriate activities, school and activity runs, and keeping the children’s rooms, play areas, and belongings tidy. The family would like someone who can create a fun and engaging day for both children while supporting their different ages and needs. The nanny should be confident caring for a toddler as well as a preschool-aged child and comfortable managing the children’s routines independently. Some domestic travel with the family will be required, so flexibility and a willingness to travel are important.
This is a live-in position, and accommodation will be provided. The schedule is Monday to Friday from 7:30am to 6:30pm, with a rate of $28–$30 per hour depending on experience.
