A private family in Chagford, Devon is looking for an experienced Live-In Nanny to care for their baby. The family would ideally like someone who has an Early Years or maternity background and understands the changing needs of a young child. The role will focus on establishing and maintaining a consistent routine while supporting the baby through key developmental stages and milestones.
The nanny will take responsibility for all aspects of the baby’s daily care, including weaning, introducing solid foods and planning suitable developmental play. As the child grows, the role will also include supporting the transition to potty training and other age-appropriate milestones. The family travels regularly, so the nanny must be passport ready and happy to travel as part of the role.
Requirements
Previous professional experience as a Nanny, ideally caring for babies
Early Years or maternity background preferred
Strong understanding of baby routines and developmental milestones
Experience supporting weaning and introducing solid foods
Knowledge of age-appropriate developmental play
Experience supporting children through key stages such as potty training
Warm, nurturing and attentive approach
Professional, discreet and reliable
Full, clean driving licence
Comfortable driving for work-related duties
Valid passport and willingness to travel regularly
Flexible and happy to travel internationally with the family
This is a Monday to Friday position, 7:00am to 7:00pm, offering up to £60,000 gross per year. Private accommodation will be provided, and a car will be available for work-related use.
