A family in Camarillo expecting their baby in August 2026 is seeking an experienced Newborn Care Specialist to provide professional overnight support during the early months of their newborn’s life. The ideal candidate will have strong newborn expertise and offer attentive overnight care while helping protect maternal sleep and support postpartum recovery. Responsibilities include assisting with breastfeeding by bringing the baby to the mother for feeds and helping establish successful feeding routines, handling diapering, soothing, burping, and settling the baby back to sleep, and helping establish healthy newborn sleep foundations. The specialist will also maintain a calm, nurturing overnight environment, assist with light baby-related tasks during the shift such as washing bottles and organizing feeding supplies, and provide clear daily updates and observations to the parents.
Contract: 2–3 months starting in August 2026.
Schedule: 3–7 nights per week, 8-hour overnight shifts.
Compensation: $40 per hour.
