A family in Bury St Edmunds is looking for an experienced nanny with a good knowledge of the EYFS to care for their two children, aged 2 years and 3 months. The family would like someone warm, nurturing and confident with both babies and toddlers. The nanny will take responsibility for the children’s daily care and support their development through age-appropriate play, activities and outings. A good understanding of developmental milestones is important, along with the ability to create a fun and stimulating routine for both children. Duties will include general nursery duties, preparing meals and snacks, managing naps and routines, and keeping the children’s areas clean and organised. The nanny should be confident caring for a young baby while also giving the 2-year-old plenty of attention and opportunities for learning. Previous experience with babies and toddlers is essential. The ideal candidate will have a genuine interest in early years development and be comfortable applying EYFS principles in a home environment. This is a Monday to Friday position with 40 hours per week. The salary is £40,000 per year.
