A Brooklyn based family is seeking a part-time nanny to join their family. The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, 3pm-7pm, with the possibility of additional hours. Flexibility to do occasional late/date nights is a plus. The family travels once a year for up to two months, which would be required. During that time, the schedule would be 9am-7pm.
Duties :
- All aspects of afterschool childcare
- Ability to gain the respect of the children while being able to discipline them.
- Ability to set boundaries when a “no” is needed.
- Finding alternative ways to keep the children engaged without using tablets or television.
- HIGH expectations on educational activities.
The family is offering a competitive salary depending on experience.
