A friendly family in Bicester, Oxfordshire is looking for an experienced Montessori Nanny to care for their two young children, aged 1 and 3 years old. This opportunity is ideal for a nurturing childcare professional with a strong Early Years background who is passionate about supporting children’s independence, curiosity, and development through a Montessori-inspired approach. The family is seeking someone who enjoys creating calm, engaging days filled with purposeful play, hands-on learning, and meaningful experiences that encourage confidence and growth.
The nanny will take responsibility for the children’s daily routines, plan enriching age-appropriate activities, and provide a safe, stimulating environment that supports each child’s developmental milestones. A background in Early Years education, nursery settings, EYFS, or teaching is essential, as the family values an educational approach to childcare. Flexibility to travel with the family on occasion is also important.
Requirements:
Previous professional nanny experience caring for toddlers and preschool-aged children
Background in Early Years education, nursery settings, EYFS, teaching, or a related field (essential)
Knowledge of the Montessori philosophy and child-led learning approaches
Strong understanding of child development and developmental milestones
Ability to plan engaging, age-appropriate educational activities and experiences
Confident managing daily routines for two young children
Warm, patient, and nurturing with a genuine passion for early childhood education
Organized, proactive, and able to work independently
Willingness to travel with the family occasionally

This is a full-time position working Monday through Thursday from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Salary is £55,000+ per year, depending on experience.
