A lovely family in Bayswater, London is seeking an experienced Montessori nanny to care for their two children on a full-time basis. The family is looking for someone who can create a calm, engaging environment where both children feel supported, challenged, and encouraged to explore the world around them.
This role goes beyond simply supervising children, it is an opportunity to actively support their development through meaningful experiences and carefully planned activities. The ideal candidate will have a genuine interest in Montessori principles and understand how to incorporate them into everyday routines, play, and learning opportunities. The family would love to find someone who is proactive, nurturing, and excited about helping children develop practical life skills, creativity, and a love of learning.
Responsibilities:
Providing full childcare for both children throughout the day
Planning and implementing educational, age-appropriate activities inspired by Montessori principles
Supporting developmental milestones and encouraging independence
Creating engaging learning opportunities through play, exploration, and everyday experiences
Organising outings, local activities, and outdoor play
Preparing healthy meals and snacks for the children
Managing children’s daily routines, including meals, rest periods, and activities
Keeping children’s bedrooms, play spaces, and belongings organised and tidy
Managing child-related tasks and ensuring children’s environments remain stimulating and well-prepared
Working closely with parents to support each child’s growth, learning, and development
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 8:00 AM–6:00 PM
Salary: £55,000 per year
