A family in Bakersfield, CA is seeking an experienced Newborn Care Specialist (NCS) to provide dedicated support for their newborn. This is a short-term, 6-week assignment for a professional who is passionate about infant care, sleep training, and establishing routines.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with newborns, be knowledgeable about safe sleep and feeding practices, and provide compassionate, attentive care while supporting the family during this transitional period.
Key Responsibilities
Provide expert newborn care, including feeding, diapering, soothing, and sleep support
Assist parents with establishing healthy routines and sleep schedules
Monitor infant safety and well-being at all times
Support parents with guidance on newborn care best practices
Maintain a clean and organized nursery and handle baby-related laundry
Document daily care, sleep patterns, and feeding schedules
