Austin TX – Seeking a Montessori style nanny for two children ages 2 months and 2 years old. Both children are being raised with an emphasis on healthy living, learning through play, and nurturing connection.
This role is best suited for a nanny who is both developmentally minded and family-oriented. Core responsibilities include:
- Creating engaging, age-appropriate activities that support physical, cognitive, and emotional growth.
- Supporting healthy routines, including sleep and nutrition, in partnership with the parents.
- Preparing wholesome meals for the children, with an emphasis on organic and whole foods.
- Outings to parks, libraries, and enriching activities, as well as facilitating or hosting playdates.
- Light nursery organization and upkeep, children’s laundry, and toy cleaning.
- Supporting family events such as birthdays, holidays, and special occasions.
- Occasional travel, ensuring the children are safe, happy, and well-prepared for each new environment.
- Discretion and flexibility are essential. The family may occasionally invite the nanny to accompany them to fundraisers, dinners, or family events, making this role ideal for someone who enjoys being included as part of a family’s wider life.
While this is a live-out position open to local candidates only, travel will be required to destinations such as San Francisco, London, Hawaii, Mexico, the Caribbean, Colorado, Utah, and Europe.
The position is part-time but the family will consider offering for more hours in 2026 for the right fit:
- Fridays: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
- Saturdays: 12:00 pm – 8:00 pm
- Sundays: 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm
