A family in Atlantic Beach, New York is looking for a warm, reliable nanny to care for their two children, ages 18 months and 6 years old. The main focus of the role will be the family’s toddler, while also supporting the older child before and after school in a calm, structured, and engaging way.
The family is hoping to find someone who genuinely enjoys working with young children and understands how important the early years are for development. They value a nanny who brings a mix of kindness, consistency, and initiative—someone who can confidently manage daily routines, create fun learning moments, and keep both children’s days running smoothly.
Responsibilities:
Providing attentive care primarily for an 18-month-old toddler, with support for a 6-year-old
Engaging both children in age-appropriate play, activities, and developmental enrichment
Supporting daily routines, transitions, and schedule consistency
Assisting with school drop-off/pick-up and after-school routines for the older child as needed
Preparing simple, healthy meals and snacks for the children
Managing children’s laundry and keeping clothing organised
Maintaining tidy, organised children’s bedrooms, play areas, and belongings
Planning and supervising engaging indoor and outdoor activities
Supporting emotional, social, and developmental growth through positive interaction
Communicating with parents about daily routines, milestones, and updates
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Compensation: $32–$35 per hour (W-2 payroll)
