A family based in Annecy is seeking a Montessori-trained or Montessori-experienced nanny to care for their two children, aged 2 and 4. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood development and a genuine interest in supporting children through a structured, child-led approach. Both parents work from home and travel occasionally for work, so someone confident working in a home environment with involved parents would be a great fit.
Day-to-day responsibilities include maintaining consistent routines, supporting developmental milestones, and planning engaging, age-appropriate Montessori-inspired activities. The nanny will also be responsible for light meal preparation for the children and keeping their areas tidy and organized, while a housekeeper is employed for laundry and deep cleaning. A native English speaker is preferred to support early language development in a natural, immersive way.
This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday (45 hours per week), with flexibility for occasional overnight stays when required.
The role can be either live-in or live-out depending on the candidate’s preference.
