A family in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, is looking for an experienced French-speaking nanny to care for their baby and support their development through this important stage. The nanny will speak French naturally with the baby throughout the day and help encourage language development through conversation, books, songs, play, and everyday interaction.
The role will focus on the baby’s daily routine and development, with age-appropriate activities planned around their interests and emerging milestones. Regular outings to baby groups, playdates, parks, and other local activities will form part of the week and give the baby opportunities to explore and socialise. The nanny will also take responsibility for all usual nursery duties, including feeding, changing, dressing, settling for naps, and keeping the nursery and baby’s belongings tidy.
A good knowledge of weaning is required, along with experience supporting babies as they move onto different foods and develop their eating skills. The family would also like someone who is confident with potty training and can provide calm, consistent support when the time comes. The ideal candidate will have strong baby experience and understand the importance of following the child’s routine while adapting activities as they reach new developmental milestones.
The position is 40 hours per week spread over four days and pays £18 gross per hour.
