A private family in Katy, TX, is seeking an experienced and dependable nanny to care for their toddler and provide attentive support throughout the day. The ideal candidate will be warm, engaging, and confident managing a toddler’s daily routines, activities, and changing needs.
The role will include all aspects of childcare, including planning age-appropriate activities, encouraging play and learning, and taking the child on regular outings to parks, libraries, classes, and other local activities. The nanny will also prepare simple and nutritious meals and snacks, manage the child’s laundry, and keep the child’s bedroom and play areas neat and organised. Light tidying of common areas related to the child will also be expected.
The family is looking for someone who can create a safe, structured, and enjoyable environment while supporting the child’s development and independence. Good communication, reliability, and a genuine love of working with young children are important for this position.
Candidates must hold current CPR and First Aid certification, have a valid driver’s license, and have reliable transportation. Authorization to work in the United States is required.
The schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The compensation is $30–$35 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
