A UHNW family in Manhattan, NY, is looking for an experienced weekend nanny to support their three children, aged 5, 8, and 10. The family already has a full-time weekday nanny and needs additional childcare support from Friday afternoon through Sunday evening, as well as during school holidays and family travel.
The weekend nanny will work alongside the existing nanny and take responsibility for the children during the weekend, including driving them to sports, activities, playdates, and other outings. The role will also include helping with homework, preparing meals for the children, and arranging activities that keep them active and engaged. The nanny will help keep the children’s clothes and belongings organised and make sure everything is ready for the weekend and upcoming activities. Packing and organising for family trips will also be part of the role, particularly before school holidays and international travel.
The regular weekend schedule is Friday from 12:00pm to 8:00pm, Saturday from 7:00am to 8:00pm, and Sunday from 7:00am to 8:00pm. During school holidays, both nannies will travel with the family and additional hours will be required. The family is looking for someone flexible and comfortable with a busy schedule, travel, and the high standards expected in a private household. A strong driving background is important, along with the confidence to manage three school-aged children and their different activities and commitments.
The position pays $50 per hour and offers the potential to earn over $100,000 per year based on the regular weekend schedule, additional hours, and travel.
