A family in Arlington, Virginia is looking for an experienced Nanny to care for their three children, aged 10, 8 and 2. The primary focus will be their 2-year-old, so strong toddler experience and a good understanding of developmental milestones are important. The nanny will provide attentive, engaging care throughout the day and support the older children after school.
The role includes school pick-ups in Washington, DC, driving the older children to activities around DC and Arlington, preparing meals and snacks, and handling child-related household tasks. These duties include children’s laundry, dishes, tidying and keeping the children’s spaces organised. The family is looking for someone confident managing children of different ages who can balance the needs of a toddler and school-aged children.
The position is Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 7:00pm, and pays $35 per hour.
The family is seeking a local candidate already based in the DC metropolitan area, including DC, Maryland or Virginia. The successful nanny must have the legal right to work in the United States and feel comfortable driving the children as part of the role.
