A family in Encino, CA, is looking for an experienced and dependable After-School Nanny to care for their two children, aged 3 and 5. The position runs Monday through Friday from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM and will involve school and preschool pickup, preparing simple meals and snacks, reading, playing and taking walks around the neighborhood. The nanny will also drive the children to and from their activities and plan age-appropriate activities that encourage their development and keep them engaged. Light household help related to the children will also be part of the role, such as emptying the dishwasher and folding their laundry. The ideal candidate will be warm, active and creative, with a genuine love of working with young children. A valid driver’s license and own reliable car are required, and mileage will be reimbursed. The rate is $35 per hour.
