A family in Santa Monica, California, is looking for an experienced French-speaking Nanny to care for their newborn. The family is looking for someone knowledgeable about infant development who can provide attentive, hands-on care as the baby grows, including supporting the transition to solids when developmentally appropriate. The nanny will manage the baby’s daily routine and care, with responsibilities including feeding, bottles, naps, age-appropriate activities and keeping the baby engaged throughout the day. Alongside childcare, the nanny will handle baby laundry, simple meal preparation, bottle cleaning and keeping the baby’s spaces tidy and organised. The role includes making sure everything baby-related is prepared and running smoothly from day to day. Mum works from home, so the family can offer some flexibility with the daily schedule. This is a Monday to Friday position with 40 guaranteed hours per week.
